Medical RecordsThe Medical Record Department consists of the following service areas:

The Medical Record Library
Duties include filing and storage, provision of records for Out Patient Clinics and retention and destruction. There are Medical Record Libraries at Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals.

Reception & Enquiries
Duties include reception service, general telephone enquiries for inpatients, provision of records for patients admitted as an emergency, central receipt of referrals via Bed Bureau (after 9pm).

Travelling Expenses
The Co-ordination and re-imbursement of patient’s travelling expenses (reception & enquiries, old main entrance).

Medical Record Services
The central office deals with administering and processing requests for patient records. You can find us in Warwick House at Heartlands Hospital.
